Thanksgiving was nice. It was pleasant I enjoyed it. I ended up taking 1 extra night off, Sunday, and feeling guilty about it. Ha.

Also found out on Sunday that the transmission in my 11 year old car has started to go bad.  It’s not running terrible so I’m sure I’ve got a little bit of time before it’s a big problem.  I’ve had the fucking that thing that long and while I haven’t had any other major problems with it, I hate sinking money into a replacement transmission and the labor to have it put it in.  I would love to get a new (to me) car but with hardly any savings and not so great credit I don’t foresee affording the payment and insurance every month without being completely strapped down.  I don’t want that. I would definitely have to borrow money for any car that’s out there for me right now.

So I’m going to be thrifty and weigh my options otherwise. Probably get a used transmission and have a mechanic I know put it in. I just hope the fucking car lasts for a while after that and I don’t have any other major repairs to shell out money for.

It’s funny, right before I felt the transmission slipping for the first time I was thinking “I need to go ahead and replace the timing belt soon”. Ha. Fuck. So yeah, it’s always something.

Nothing too exciting going on this week. Might go hiking this weekend but not if there’s snow on the mountain, which is very probable.  It’s been raining off and on here all day.

So that I’m not totally exhausted Saturday morning, I’m going to take off Friday night.  My cam schedule for the rest of the week will be: on Tuesday night, off Wednesday night (shooting content), on Thursday & Sunday nights.  11pm to 3am EST.

I wanna point out that there is a widget in my sidebar now that will show my status on Streamate as “I’m Offline Now” or “Join My Live Show”. You can click on that and it will take you directly to my chatroom (or my profile if I’m offline). Neat little thing. I think they’ve had it for a while and I was oblivious. I’m old school, haha. When I’m online there I’m also generally available for Skype Shows and on AdultWork as well.

I’ve been very pleased with the number of folks signing up for my Shakinit site! And I’m having a blast making videos for it.  I added 8 more this past week!
